The heat is slowly inching up starting last Friday. Thank heavens, the winds had hibernated. Yes, summer is up. We are bracing for much heater temperatures this time. And, much higher electric consumption. That’s not too nice ^_^
We promised the kids to go swimming last Saturday. Anyhow, there’s few small resorts around town. Everybody were too excited last Friday when we were planning it out. Too bad, my 6 month-old niece had contacted measles and becomes too irritable to handle. Thus, our Saturday rendezvous in a swimming resort was CANCELLED. The kids were whining.
And, to stop them from fretting and making my life miserable…I promised them Sunday would be their swimming day….
Hubby bought this humongous Intex inflatable pool last year.
It comes with a portable and manual air pump. The rechargeable air pump we had for the air bed had short-circuited 3 years back. I AM THE SUSPECT! ^_^
The kids took turns inflating the rubber pool…
See, everybody’s too eager to get going with the pump. Too excited to take the splash…
And, there they go…complete with the home made halo-halo I prepared snacks. Isn’t it perfect combination? Swimming and halo-halo?
Judge their excitement over heir faces….
Just let me tell you…it took an hour for that faux pool to be filled with water. And, our water runs on ELECTRICITY…my bad!
